🍫 Ultimate Chewy Brownies
Ingredients:

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

1 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola)

1¼ cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup + 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder

½ cup chocolate chips or chunks (optional, but highly recommended)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, oil, and sugar until well combined and glossy (about 1 minute).

Add eggs and vanilla extract. Beat vigorously for another minute—this gives brownies that crackly top.

Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir just until combined (don’t overmix).

Fold in chocolate chips or chunks if using.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter!).
